Данный плагин предоставляет возможность создавать неограниченное количество брендов, которые можно назначать товарам для лучшей организации каталога, поиска необходимых товаров и дополнительных возможностей для маркетинга и продвижения товаров по брендам.

В этом плагине бренды созданы как отдельная таксономия, что позволяет использовать все преимущества WordPress по работе с таксономиями, а также использовать все возможности для SEO-оптимизации от YoastSEO

Этот плагин очень хорошо взаимодействует с другими плагинами от Premmerce, такими, как Premmerce WooCommerce Toolkit и WooCommerce SEO Addon.

Установка

Данный плагин вы можете установить из официального  WordPress plugin directory.

Страница управления брендами в административной панели

Страница управления брендами находится в блоке “Товары”. Пример на изображении:

Создание бренда

Для создания бренда нужно зайти на страницу “Бренды” через административную панель.

Для создания бренда нужно заполнить следующие поля:

• Имя — сюда нужно ввести название бренда; это поле является обязательным
• Слаг — это версия названия бренда, которая используется для формирования URL страницы бренда на сайте. Обычно слаг содержит только буквы в нижнем регистре, цифры и дефисы
• Описание — это описание, которое используется на странице отображения бренда
• Thumbnail — можно скачать изображения для бренда
• Кликнуть на кнопку Добавить новый бренд

Быстрое редактирование бренда

Для быстрого редактирования бренда нужно кликнуть на кнопку Быстрое редактирование.

В быстром редактировании можно изменить Имя и Слаг

Для редактирования бренда нужно кликнуть на название бренда или на кнопку Редактировать под нужным брендом

На этой странице можно изменить все ранее созданные данные: Имя, Слаг, Описание, Thumbnail

Удаление бренда

Удалить бренд можно 2 методами:

1. Кликнуть на кнопку Удалить под брендом, который вы хотите удалить.
   
2. Пометить чекбоксы брендов, которые нужно удалить.

Выбрать в раскрывающемся меню Массовые действия вариант Удалить и кликнуть на кнопку Применить.

На странице Бренды вы также можете сделать следующие действия:

Поиск бренда

Вы можете найти конкретный бренд с помощью поиска. Поиск осуществляется по названию бренда или по слагу.

Чтобы воспользоваться поиском, нужно ввести буквы, цифры или слова, которые содержат бренды, в поле возле кнопки Искать бренды (на скриншоте это поле подсвечено желтым цветом) и кликнуть на кнопку Искать бренды.

Для этого нужно кликнуть на кнопку Просмотр нужного бренда.

Просмотр прикрепленных к бренду товаров

Для этого нужно кликнуть на число в столбце Count нужного бренда

Для этого нужно зайти на страницу Добавить новый товар или Редактировать товар. Выберите нужный бренд в селект-меню в разделе “Бренды” и кликните на кнопку Публиковать или Обновить для сохранения внесенных изменений. Если вам необходимо открепить бренд от товара, то выберите “Не указывать”.

Также мы добавили возможность прикрепить бренд к товару с помощью быстрого редактирования товара. Откройте страницу “Товары” и в нужном товаре кликните на кнопку “Быстрое редактирование”. Выберите нужный бренд в селект-меню “Бренды” и кликните на кнопку “Обновить” для сохранения внесенных изменений. Если вам необходимо открепить бренд от товара, то выберите “Не указывать”.

Виджеты

Плагин позволяет добавить виджет Бренды через Настройщик

Виджет Бренды

Виджет Бренды дает возможность вывести N-количество брендов на сайте. Виджет может работать в двух режимах: Auto и Custom.

Если выбран режим Auto, то возможны дополнительные настройки, такие как отображать только бренды с изображением и задать максимальное количество брендов, которые выводятся на сайте в виджете.

Если выбран режим Custom, то вы можете выбрать какие именно бренды показывать, а какие нет.

В обоих режимах можно указать название виджета.

Отображение всех брендов на странице сайта с помощью шорткода

Для того, чтобы на странице сайта отображался список всех брендов, нужно добавить shortcode: [brands_page]. Плагин автоматически создает страницу “Бренды” с этим шорткодом при его установлении.

Installation Instructions

Go to Plugins -> Add New section from your admin account and search for Premmerce Brands for WooCommerce.

You can also install this plugin manually:
* Download the plugin’s ZIP archive and unzip it.
* Copy the unzipped premmerce-woocommerce-product-filter folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
* Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

Great plugin with a lot of features (even in FREE version). Some paid plugins have less features available.

Horrible support! The plugin didn’t work with my website. I asked support and they told me: «I does not see why you have this issue and can’t check this.»

I wanted some of the functions in this, and was planning to buy it, but installed the free version, and decided not to buy it. Firs of all, I hope the premium dos not have the same messy setup, my WP looked like a XMAS tree.. I like free plugins, and sometimes i buy the premium if it works/looks good with a good interface, but seriously!!! also the documentation link was faulty . Sorry, tried it, deleted it!!

1. Unzip the downloaded zip file.
2. Upload the plugin folder into the wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WordPress site.
3. Activate YITH WooCommerce Brands Add-on from Plugins page

YITH WooCommerce Brands Add-on will add a new submenu called «Brands» under «YITH» menu. Here you are able to configure all the plugin settings.

This plugin fitted almost all my needs and I needed to tweak the brand image size which support kindly provided the code. Well coded, no impact on site load times and an excellent addition for any eCommerce site.
