Я пытаюсь поместить свой фон за div, который содержит jumbotron, но div остается под фоновым изображением, а не появляется на нем. Как это исправить?

P.S. По некоторым причинам я не хочу помещать фоновое изображение в свой файл CSS, поэтому я хочу, чтобы источник изображения был только в моем HTML. Большое спасибо!

Для этого вам нужно указать браузеру расположить элемент img позади вашего дочернего элемента div . Для этой цели вы можете использовать атрибут position с img , имеющим более низкий z-индекс .

z-index работает для этого, если у вас есть свойства position для элементов:

 div.container-fluid {позиция: относительная;}
div.container-fluid img {позиция: абсолютная; верхняя: 0; левая: 0; z-индекс: 1}
