Terms descriptions – WordPress plugin

This plugin allows you to create list of terms and assign links to them. Plugin replaces terms occurrences in your posts with appropriate links.

The main purpose of this plugin is easy link building.

For example, you can create a page or post with detail description of some term. Most likely, this term is used in other posts and it would be appropriate to put a links from that posts to you page. But doing this operation manually is very time consuming task.

This WordPress plugin allow you to maintain a list of terms and assign links to them. Plugin automatically replaces terms occurrences in posts with appropriate links. You can control the number of terms replacements.

This plugin allows.

Create, update and delete terms through admin interface (Terms menu). Each term can contain one or several word forms (e.g. pear, pears).
Assign a link to a term. This link can point to your blog post, page, custom post type or to a page on another site.

Control how many terms will be converted to links in each post.
Select where you want to replace terms, in posts content, in posts comments or both.
Set several word forms for each term. For example, “apple|apples”. Word forms should be separated with a “|” symbol.
Search for terms in posts content and convert them to appropriate links. This task is performed automatically when plugin is activated.
Disable terms to links conversion for individual posts.
Wrap links with arbitrary text (for example, you can wrap link with strong tag)
Export and import terms and plugin options.
Export terms in CSV format.
Packet terms creation.
Permalinks update function (use it after permalinks structure updates).

Please, note that terms will not be replaced with links in following cases.

If the term is already inside the link. E.g. if the link was created manually. So the plugin will not change any links that already exists in the post.

If the term is located inside html tag. For example, inside alt attribute of img tag.
If the term is located in h2–h6 tags.
If the term is part of another word. E.g. term = car and the word is carrot.
If you checked “Disable Terms Descriptions plugin for this post” checkbox (at the bottom of post edit screen).

Important!

Huge terms lists with hundreds of terms can increase page creation time. In such cases, consider to use caching plugin.

Extract terms-descriptions folder
Upload terms-descriptions folder to yourwp-content/plugins directory
Log in to your WordPress blog
Click on “Plugins”
Locate the “Terms Descriptions” plugin and click “Activate”
Go to “Term” > “Terms” to create your list of terms
Update DB message may appear after plugin upgrade at the top of admin pages. In this case backup you database and press “Update DB” button.
Go to “Terms” > “Options” and select parser type. Simple parser will search for exact terms. Simple parser with quotes support will search for terms that may be surrounded with quotes.
If you change permalinks structure go to “Term” > “Terms” page and press “Update permalinks” button
If you want to disable the plugin for individual posts check “Disable Terms Descriptions plugin for this post” checkbox (at the bottom of post edit screen)

Отличный плагин, полностью покрывает мои задачи. Спасибо огромное. Единственное, что хотелось бы — вывод имеющихся терминов на страничке редактирования терминов по алфавиту — когда их много, задалбываешься искать нужный. Ну и мечты, мечты — опционально всплывающий pop-up с кратким описанием термина, вместо ссылки на отдельную страницу, mobile friendly… Некоторые термины слишком краткие, чтобы на них делать отдельную статью. Спасибо!

Yoast SEO — плагин №1 из других SEO плагинов WordPress. Его установили более 5 миллионов пользователей, вот это, да! Очень часто обновляется, по моему чаще остальных установленных у меня. Товарищи, улучшите SEO вашего WordPress: поработайте над качеством контента и получите полностью оптимизированный WordPress-сайт с помощью плагина Yoast SEO. Установка модуля происходит как обычно, из админки WP, стандартным способом. Раздел Плагины — Добавить новый. В поле для поиска плагинов вводим SEO Yoast, в списке плагинов будет первый. Кликаем Установить:

Далее, после успешной установки и активации плагина, в админке появится новый раздел — SEO и подразделы.

Настройка Yoast SEO

Какие настройки Seo плагина вы можете произвести? Естественно, идём с самого начала: нажимаем Общие. Вкладка — консоль. Вы должны увидеть уведомление о старте мастера настройки Yoast SEO, также проблемы вашего сайта и уведомления (если они есть) которые вы при настройке плагина исправите. Давайте первым делом произведём первичные seo настройки. Нажимаете ссылку: Быстро начать работу с Yoast SEO мастером настройки!

После этого, откроется на новой вкладке браузера спец-страница где плагин поможет вам настроить SEO под нужды вашего сайта!

Выберите настройки Yoast SEO по вашему предпочтению

Пройдите все 12 шагов, отмечая нужные вам настройки. Затем вернётесь в свою админку и продолжите настройки. Следующая вкладка Возможности. Yoast SEO предлагает множество разных сервисов. Вы можете активировать/деактивировать некоторые из них ниже. Кликните на знак вопроса, чтобы получить больше информации о сервисе:

Включите всё, хотя, каждый должен решать сам, да и по умолчанию все сервисы включены. Тут многие спрашивают, как включить в yoast seo карту сайта sitemap xml для поисковых систем? Вот, здесь и включается. Там же написано русскими буквами: XML-карта сайта — Включите файлы Sitemap XML, которые генерирует Yoast SEO.

XML-карта сайта (sitemap.xml) сообщает поисковикам, какие страницы вашего сайта нужно проиндексировать, время их последнего обновления, частоту обновления и важность относительно других страниц сайта. Файл sitemap.xml может помочь поисковым роботам найти все страницы вашего сайта и правильно определить важность страниц. Чтобы сообщить поисковым системам местоположение файла sitemap.xml, необходимо указать URL файла в средствах для вебмастеров (Яндекс.Вебмастер, Google Search Console или Bing Webmaster Tools) и в robots.txt добавить ссылку на карту.

Даже можно её сразу посмотреть (ещё не настроенную), нажав ? и соответствующею ссылку. А в дальнейшем вы можете найти свою карту сайта XML именно здесь:

Открыли, скопировали ссылку на карту и добавили её в веб-мастер (после настройки). Ссылка у карты в Yoast SEO будет такая https://ваш_сайт/sitemap_index.xml

Идём дальше. Вкладка — Инструменты для веб-мастеров. Используйте следующие блоки, чтобы верифициаровать ваш сайт в разных поисковых системах. Эта настройка добавит мета-тег верификации на вашу домашнюю страницу. Это когда в веб-мастере поисковики требуют подтвердить права на сайт. Получаете мета — теги и вставляете цифровую часть в нужные поля. Только мейл ру отсутствует. Да, к стати, очень подробно рассказал, как подтвердить права на сайт разными способами в этом посте, читайте. Данная настройка добавит мета тег подтверждения на ваш сайт:

Не забывайте сохранять все изменения — синяя кнопка. Переходим на страницу: Отображение в поисковой выдаче, вкладка Общие. Здесь, выбираем разделитель заголовка. Он будет показан между вашим названием сообщения и названием сайта. Символы будут появляться в результатах поиска. И обязательно нужно указать SEO заголовок для вашего сайта, а также, важно — мета-описание.

Meta description — это мета-описание страницы сайта. Meta-тег description, в отличие от meta keywords, является действующим и достаточно эффективным способом влияния на представление сайта в результатах поиска. Содержимое meta name description content используется при формировании сниппета для описания сайта в поиске.

У меня например, прописано так:

Вы можете определить название и описание для главной страницы сайта по вашему желанию.

Затем, идёт вкладка «Типы содержимого». Вот с этого момента начинается настройка карты сайта xml в Yoast SEO. Раньше было по другому, сейчас сделали намного понятней и проще. Теперь все сводится к тому, чтобы ответить на простой вопрос: хотите ли вы, чтобы то или то появилось в поисковых системах (включать в карту сайта или нет)?

Настройка sitemap xml Yoast SEO

Настройки на этой странице позволяют указать как будет выглядеть результат поиска по умолчанию для любого типа содержимого. Вы можете выбрать какой тип содержимого появится в результатах поиска и вариант описания по умолчанию. Вы можете сделать индивидуальные настройки в соответствующих разделах Yoast SEO для того, чтобы ваш контент был доступным для индексации поисковыми роботами.

Например, ответив «Да» на вопрос «Показать сообщения в результатах поиска» в настройках сообщений, вы убедитесь, что ваши статьи будут отображаться в карте сайта XML, а следовательно, и в результатах поиска.

Включите в XML карту сайта записи и страницы, а дату — как хотите.

Настройки URL для отдельных Записей

Конечно, вы можете исключить отдельные посты из XML-карты сайта в мета-блоке Yoast SEO под редактором сообщений. Нажав на шестерёнку и выбрать нужное:

Во вкладке Медиа нужно — Перенаправить URL вложений на файл вложения — включить Да. Если вы загружаете медиафайл (например, изображение или видео), WordPress не только сохраняет ваш медиафайл, но и создает URL для него. Страницы с этими URL почти пустые: на них есть только ваше медиа и, возможно, заголовок (если вы его добавили). По этой причине, если вы никогда не используете эти URL, лучше деактивировать их и перенаправить их на сам медиа-объект.

Во вкладке Таксономии вам нужно выбрать: включать в sitemap xml или нет — рубрики, метки и архивы по формату? Рубрики можете добавить в карту, а вот остальное, думаю не нужно. Насчёт меток, я так и не нашёл ответа, нужны они в карте или нет. Решайте сами.

На очереди вкладка — Архивы. По архивам идёт подсказка: Если вы ведете свой личный блог, архив автора будет полностью совпадать с домашней страницей. Это называется проблема дублирования содержимого. Если у вас именно такая ситуация, вы можете либо отключить её (будет происходить перенаправление на домашнюю страницу), либо добавить к ссылке noindex,follow, чтобы исключить её из результатов поиска. Обратите внимание, что ссылки на архивы могут иметь еще выход из вашей темы, и вам нужно будет удалить их по отдельности. Архив по дате в некоторых случаях, также может выглядеть как дублированное содержимое.

Если у вас в теме отсутствуют хлебные крошки, то вы можете настроить их — Вкладка — Хлебные крошки, а затем внедрить код в свой шаблон (для опытных пользователей):

Как добавить хлебные крошки от Yoast в тему, я давно рассказал тут. Настройки RSS канала. Вкладка RSS: Эта функция автоматически добавит содержимое в RSS-поток, Вы можете добавить ссылки на Ваш сайт в каждую запись, защитив содержимое от автоматических агрегаторов, и указав поисковым системам адрес первоисточника. Нужно это вам или нет, решайте самостоятельно. А я пойду дальше.

Хорошо что, плагин на русском языке и настройки с подсказками (вопросительный знак кликаем), что облегчает нам настройки модуля. Следующий подраздел плагина — Консоль поиска. Можно подключить плагин к Google Search Console чтобы вы могли отслеживать, как Google индексирует ваш сайт. Предоставляя Yoast SEO доступ к вашей учетной записи Search Console, вы можете видеть и исправлять ошибки сканирования прямо из плагина!

А мы теперь заглянем, в подраздел Социальные сети — вкладка — Аккаунты. Укажите ваши профили в социальных сетях. Для того, чтобы сообщить поисковикам о том, какие профили в социальных сетях привязаны к вашему сайту. Введите ссылки, сохраняйте изменения и переходите на вкладку Facebook. Активируйте метаданные Open Graph если вы хотите, чтобы Facebook и другие социальные сети отображали изображения, и отрывок текста в предпросмотре, если кто-то поделится ссылкой на ваш сайт. То есть, красиво постить/делиться в социальные сети — Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus и Pinterest:

Настройте и остальные соцсети по подсказкам плагина. И последнее по настройкам. Подраздел — Инструменты Yoast SEO:

Импорт и экспорт — Импортировать настройки из других SEO плагинов и экспортировать настройки для повторного использования на (другом) блоге.
Редактор файлов — Этот инструмент позволит быстро отредактировать такие важные для вашего SEO файлы, как robots.txt и .htaccess (при его наличии).

Групповой редактор — Этот инструмент позволит вам быстро изменить заголовки и описания ваших записей и страниц без редактирования отдельных страниц.

С настройками закончили. Теперь как пользоваться SEO плагином. При создания новой записи SEO Plugin добавляет полезные функции под редактором сообщений. Сниппет — как будет выглядеть фрагмент записи в поисковой выдачи. Меняйте сниппет как вам нужно. Фишка плагина это — ключевое слово, он проверит его в заголовке статьи; заголовке страницы; URL страницы; содержимом; в мета-описание:

Нажимаете на значок Глаз (выделить результат в тексте) и плагин показывает/подсвечивает на странице места для исправления. Вот, пожалуй и закончим наш рассказ на этом месте. Изучайте, пользуйтесь, улучшайте SEO и на первое место в выдаче — Добро пожаловать.

P.S. Популярный WordPress-плагин Yoast SEO выпустил обновление (версия 11.0), которое позволяет корректно внедрить разметку Schema.org.

От других доступных вариантов это предложение отличает тот факт, что оно решает две проблемы:

Упрощает внедрение разметки;
Объединяет разрозненные фрагменты разметки, создаваемые большинством реализацией Schema, и формирует вложенную структуру.

В заключение

Yoast SEO и All in One SEO Pack (правильная настройка) – два лучших плагина, касающихся SEO-оптимизации сайта. Выбирайте исходя из личных предпочтений, но при этом не забывайте, что ставить оба плагина на свой ресурс нельзя (не рекомендуется).

Предложенные 4 лучших SEO плагина WordPress проверены мной на своих ресурсах. Но, несмотря на это настоятельно рекомендую перед использованием внимательно изучить их описание и инструкции, а также сделать резервное копирование вашего WordPress.

SEO плагины для WordPress я бы разделил на две группы. Первая это узконаправленные плагины, для решения одной, двух конкретных SEO задач. Например, для слежения за ранжированием своих ключевых слов. Вторая категория SEO плагинов это многофункциональные, объемные SEO платформы с большим набором настроек и возможностей. Предлагаемые 4 Лучших SEO плагина WordPress , относятся к многофункциональным SEO плагинам.

Yoast WordPress SEO

Плагин Yoast WordPress SEO имеет 24 языка, русский включен. Обновляется плагин постоянно, заслуженная популярность плагина зашкаливает. Страница плагина Yoast WordPress SEO: https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-seo/

Yoast WordPress SEO плагин, несомненно фаворит среди плагинов оптимизации WordPress. Это мощный, постоянно развивающийся SEO плагин решающий все главные задачи оптимизации, как статей, так и общей структуры. Функции плагина включают в себя более 40 настроек, включая настройку заголовков блога, статей, категорий, страниц, медиафайлов и массу других настроек.

Настройки включают выборочную установку тегов noindex и nofollow, интегрирует работу блога с социальными сетями facebook и twitter. Позволяет вносить изменения в файл [.htaccess] непосредственно из административной панели блога. Плагин All-In-One SEO Pack является одним из самых известных SEO плагинов WordPress. Он имеет множество SEO функций: автоматически оптимизирует ваши названия для поисковых систем и автоматически генерирует мета-теги. Вы также можете переопределить любой заголовок, установить любые мета-описания и любые мета ключевые слова, которые вы хотите. Это лишь небольшая часть настроек плагина. В работе плагин прост для новичков и имеет хороший функционал для опытных пользователей.

The SEO Framework

Плагин The SEO Framework неожиданное моё открытие 2018 года. Плагин хорошо обновляется, и за последние годы набрал хороший функционал по автоматической оптимизации и SEO настроек сайта.

На сайте автора ТУТ, вы можете расширить функционал и за 5$ в месяц приобрести платную версию плагина с расширенным функционалом.

Однако и в бесплатном варианте плагин справляется с задачами оптимизации не хуже раскрученного плагина YoastSEO.

Не буду рассказывать о возможностях плагина, просто покажу «портянку» его настроек. Там на самом деле есть всё, что нужно.

При добавлении статей и страниц плагин оценит основные SEO параметры материала и сообщит об этом в полях поисковой оптимизации под редактором.

Трудно не заметить, что плагин The SEO Framework очень схож с YoastSEO, однако по набору бесплатных функций обходит это плагин. Кроме этого у SEO Framework нет навязчивых еженедельных обновлений и постоянно акцента на покупку pro версии, чем в последнее время страдает YoastSEO.

Более того на сайте автора https://theseoframework.com/extensions/ есть дополнительные плагины улучшающие оптимизацию сайта по отдельным направлениям (AMP, Articles, Monitor и т.д.).

HeadSpace 2 SEO

Плагин не тестировался более 2-х лет. Это значит, что автор его забросил. К рекомендации не рекомендую.

Русский перевод есть. Официально не протестирован для WordPress 3.5.1. Не тестировался для WordPress 3.8. Страница плагина HeadSpace 2 SEO (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/headspace2/).

Плагин HeadSpace 2 SEO это, пожалуй, был самый мощный SEO плагин, правда, требующий серьезного изучения. Этот плагин позволяет настроить практически всё ,что можно придумать в SEO оптимизации. Это касается и внутренней оптимизации сайта и интеграции сайта с основными SEO инструментами интернет. Можно настроить метаданные для сообщений, страниц, категорий, главной страницы, авторов постов, поиска страниц ,404 страницы. Вы также можете указать: Ключевые слова(Keywords) и описание (Descriptions).

Правда плагин требует некоторого изучения и может быть труден для новичков. Но после изучения вы сможете оценить весь его функционал по достоинству. К сожалению должен повториться, плагин не протестирован для Worpress 3.8.

SEO Ultimate

Плагин не тестировался более 2-х лет. Это значит, что автор его забросил. К рекомендации не рекомендую.

Язык английский. В последней версии плагина, частично переведено меню. Последнее тестирование для WordPress 3.9. Страница плагина SEO Ultimate.

Плагин SEO Ultimate также входит в 4 Лучших SEO плагина WordPress для оптимизации сайта WordPress. В нем собран полезный набор SEO инструментов, который даст вам кучу функций SEO оптимизации. SEO Ultimate позволяет формировать оптимизированные заголовки (Title Tag) отличные от заголовком статей, также есть редактор мета описание (Description) которое можно создать при написании статьи, редактировать файлы robots.txt и .htaccess непосредственно из админ панели, автоматически разместить в статьях кнопки поделись от AddThis и Share многое другое. Это все 4 Лучших SEO плагина WordPress.
